What is it? A five-day experience in marine and freshwater environments on the Olympic Peninsula, integrating art and science. Discover marine creatures and habitats, waterways and watersheds, shoreline mysteries, and local native legends.

Who should apply? 5th & 6th graders in teams of 4 to 6 students and one adult. School groups, community groups and homeschool teams are all welcome.

Where is it? The program is based at Fort Worden State Park in Port Townsend, Washington, home to CentrumĀ  Arts and Creative Education and the newly expanded Port Townsend Marine Science Center. Fort Worden offers miles of shoreline, wooded trails, views of majestic peaks and busy shipping lanes, as well as conference center housing.
