What can be more fun than gathering with friends, who share the same passion for our coastal environment, than a party to raise funds for what we hold near and dear?! So brush off the ol’ checkbook and come to the PTMSC’s 4th Annual Tides of March Benefit Auction on March 1st at the Jefferson County Fairgrounds. Doors open at 5 p.m. with ongoing silent auctions and delicious food and drink.
For the past three years our auction has surpassed our expectations in every way, raising money to help support our education programs. And if you’ve attended before, you know first-hand how much fun they are! This year the auction committee promises it will surpass past years in every way—offering an exciting and unusual assortment of one-of-a-kind items to bid on. There will be unique experiences in travel and adventure to services, special dinners prepared by clever chefs and many other delightful surprises.
In a spirit of being “green,” this year our auction catalog will be on-line at www.ptmsc.org. We’ll have a special auction page to keep you updated on all the latest information, with the catalog being posted by February 22nd.
We encourage you to pre-register. Your pre-registration helps to give us early funds for many of the upfront costs required to put on an auction. Invite your friends, neighbors and business associates to come with you, enjoy the party and support PTMSC. Our goal is to sell out by February 1st, so don’t delay. Registration is $25 at the door.
