Invertebrate Diversity

Invertebrate Diversity
Grades 9-12

Marine invertebrates make up some of the most interesting and colorful members of Puget Sound’s marine life. Using field guides and scientific drawing to compare and contrast invertebrates in our collection, students get to know our common and not so common species and the characteristics they share with other members of the same Phylum.

Through observation and discussion, they learn the strategies these organisms use for feeding, movement and protection.

Class length: 90 minutes
Maximum Group Size: 26 students and 4 adults
Program Cost: $230 (before April 1st)
Peak Season Cost: $250 (April 1st through June 18th)
